For this new BR-03 Diver Black Bronze, Bell & Ross selected a CuSn8 alloy, composed of 92% copper and 8% tin. Bell & Ross, which set a world record for water resistance in 1997 with the Hydromax (resistant to 11,100 meters), deeply understands the demands of the underwater world. This new diver strictly adheres to the ISO 6425 international standard, which defines the criteria for professional diving watches. It must withstand immersion to at least 100 meters, feature a reliable time-control system, and guarantee legibility at 25 centimeters in total darkness. The case of the new BR-03 Diver Black Bronze is water-resistant to 300 meters. Its reinforced construction includes a telescopic screw-down crown with a rubber insert for easy handling even with diving gloves, a steel screw-down case back, and extra-thick anti-reflective sapphire crystal. All essential elements are combined to ensure diver safety: precise measurement of elapsed time, maximum legibility, and unfailing robustness. The BR-CAL.302-1 caliber, an automatic mechanical movement, beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers a 54-hour power reserve.
