The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Milano Cortina

Milano, February 6, 2026 – Omega’s Countdown Clocks in Italy have reached their final seconds, signalling the start of the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. The historic sporting competition officially began with a spectacular Opening Ceremony on February 6th, which ignited the celebrations within the Milano San Siro Olympic Stadium. Now that the events are finally set to commence, Omega begins its role as Official Timekeeper for the 32nd time since 1932.

Over the coming weeks, the world’s finest winter athletes will compete across the full Olympic programme, pushing the limits of speed, creativity, and precision in pursuit of medals. To support every decisive moment, Omega has deployed a comprehensive timekeeping operation, combining 300 timekeepers with 130 tonnes of cutting-edge equipment. The brand will now be relied upon to accurately measure all 116 events in 8 sporting disciplines at venues across Milano, Cortina d’Ampezzo, and the surrounding regions.

Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of Omega, says, “The opening of the Olympic Winter Games is always charged with emotion and expectation. At this moment, we particularly celebrate the dedication that has brought every athlete here. It is a privilege for Omega to stand alongside them and support their efforts through our timekeeping excellence. We are absolutely ready for the split-seconds that will make history at Milano Cortina 2026.”

Chosen as Official Timekeeper in 1932 for its fine reputation in precision, Omega has remained a committed and trusted Olympic partner for 94 years. During that time, the brand has played a defining role in the evolution of Olympic and Paralympic Games timekeeping, developing innovative technologies that athletes, officials, and fans depend on at every edition.

As the Olympic Winter Games unfold, Omega’s Countdown Clocks will remain a steadfast symbol within the host cities, continuing their count towards the Paralympic Winter Games, which begin on March 6th. Having proudly timed the Paralympic Games since 1992, Omega will once again return to ensure that every performance is recorded with the same high standard of quality.

An Olympic Games Timepiece

The Olympic Winter Games are set to begin in just over two weeks, bringing many of the world’s best winter athletes to the venues of northern Italy. As the Official Timekeeper of Milano Cortina 2026, Omega is celebrating the moment with the launch of a dedicated Seamaster Diver 300M timepiece.

The overall design of the 43.5 mm watch is inspired by the Milano Cortina 2026 emblem, allowing sports fans to own a genuine tribute to this historic Olympic Winter Games occasion. Each piece is delivered inside a special Milano Cortina 2026 presentation box, adding even more prestige to this exclusive keepsake.

To begin the wintry inspiration, Omega has crafted the timepiece in white ceramic and grade 5 titanium – two materials that combine sleek beauty with lightweight strength. These materials are finished in a variety of ways, helping to create contrasting surfaces around the design. This includes the polished-brushed case body, the sandblasted helium escape valve and crown, and the white ceramic bezel ring, which features a laser-ablated diving scale in positive relief.

On the dial, Omega has created a unique effect in honour of these Olympic Winter Games. Made in white ceramic, it reveals laser-engraved frosting, with a finger trace pattern inspired by the “26” of the Milano Cortina 2026 emblem. Completing the dial design, the rhodium-plated hands and indexes have been filled with white Super-LumiNova, while the varnished central seconds hand has been given a subtle blue gradient – a colour that is shared with the competition logo.

A final Olympic homage is presented on the grade 5 titanium caseback, where Omega has placed a stamped Milano Cortina 2026 emblem, forever associating this watch with the XXV Olympic Winter Games.

Worn on an integrated white rubber strap, with its buckle in grade 5 titanium, this unique Seamaster Diver 300M is powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806. Featuring a power reserve of 55 hours, and certified at the Swiss industry’s highest standard, it offers a level of precision and performance that any athlete would be proud of.

The Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 will be competed between February 6th and 22nd. Omega will fulfil the role of Official Timekeeper for the 32nd edition since 1932, bringing its legacy of precision, expertise and innovation to the competition. The Swiss brand will record all of the 116 events across 16 sporting disciplines, ensuring total reliability in the moments that matter.
