Made in 1929, sold to Tiffany on January 10, 1947. Extremely fine and very rare, keyless 18K yellow gold, minute-repeating dress watch with split-seconds chronograph and 30-minute register. C. Four-body, “bassine”, polished with concealed hinge, chronograph activated by co-axial pushbutton in the crown, split-seconds activated by pushbutton at 10. 30, bolt at 11 to lock the chronograph. Hinged gold cuvette. D. Brushed, silver with applied yellow gold Breguet numerals, outer minute track and concentric fifths of a second divisions, Arabic five minute/seconds numerals, subsidiary seconds, 30-minute register. Gold Breguet hands. M. 37 mm. , 17’’’, rhodium-plated, fausses côtes decoration, 40 jewels, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold temperature and meantime adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Case, dial, and movement signed. Diam. 47 mm.
