Two-body, spring-loaded back cover very finely painted with a scene depicting King Arthur and Emmeline holding a mirror belonging to her attendant Matilda in which she sees King Arthur's reflection, after a 1787 engraving by by P. W. Tomkins after Charles Ansell, the bezels with red, white and blue champlevé enamel geometrical patterns, hinged, spring-loaded gold engraved cuvette mounted to the movement ring. D. White enamel, Roman chapters, outer minute divisions and quarter seconds. Gold 'spde' hands. M. 49 mmo, gilt brass, fully engraved 'Chinese' calibre, 5 jewels, free-standing barrel, ruby duplex escapement, plain five-arm steel balance, flat balance spring, diamond endstone.
