Paul Garnier, Horloger de la Marine, Paris, circa 1850. Rare mahogany, 8 day going, hour and half hour striking, with a special escapement.

C. Varnished with rounded off angles D. Whit enamel with blue Roman numerals Blued steel "Trèfle" hands. M. Brass, rectangular, with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, Paul Garnier frictionnai rest escapement drawn from that of De Baufre, plain three armed brass balance, flat balance spring. In good condition. Dim. 17 x 12, 5 x 10 cm.
