C. Three body mahogany box with external brass handles, glazed upper section with hinged lid. Brass circular gimbal and bowl. D. Silvered with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down sector. Gilt brass "spade" hands. M. Brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain and maintaining power, Earnshaw type spring detent escapement, two-arm compensation balance with poising weights and timing screws, free sprung blued steel helical balance spring with terminal curves, diamond end-stone. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Dial diam. 85 mm.
