Cannes, 15 July 2021 – Invited by Chopard Co-President and Artistic Director, Caroline Scheufele, guests last night were given a presentation of the Red Carpet Collection creations at a majestic Paradise-themed dinner in keeping with the inspiration for the collection. The floral decor provided an enchanting setting worthy of an incredible Garden of Eden. The dinner, held on the pontoon of the mythical Hotel Martinez, welcomed Poppy Delevingne, Emmanuelle Béart, Georgina Rodriguez and Amy Jackson. At the end of the evening, both guests and the large crowd that had gathered on La Croisette enjoyed a concert by artist Mika, compliments of Caroline Scheufele.

Official partner to the Cannes Film Festival, Chopard privatized the pontoon of the Hotel Martinez to welcome guests to a magnificent evening serving as a showcase for the presentation of the Red Carpet Collection: an assortment of 74 Haute Joaillerie creations designed to adorn the most beautiful actresses during the premiere of their films at the Cannes Festival.

The “Paradise Chic” dress code already hinted at the enchanting atmosphere of the evening. In harmony with the theme of the Red Carpet Collection, the dinner decor was an invitation to journey into an enchanting Paradise as imagined by the creative soul of Chopard’s Caroline Scheufele.

Poppy Delevingne, Emmanuelle Béart, Georgina Rodriguez and Amy Jackson, all adorned with Chopard jewellery, as well as Valérie Lemercier, were among the guests at the exclusive dinner cooked by starred chefs Sylvestre Wahid (from the “Sylvestre” restaurant at the Grandes Alpes Hotel) and Christian Sinicropi (from the Martinez Hotel’s “La Palme d’Or” restaurant).

Between courses – enhanced with Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut champagne – guests were entertained by famous magician David Jarre, along with a parade of models straight from an incredible ‘Paradise’ and complemented by the Red Carpet Collection creations.

At the end of the meal, Caroline Scheufele further treated guests to an exclusive concert by British-Lebanese artist Mika, who arrived by sea to ignite the entire Croisette to the sound of Lollipop, Grace Kelly, Relax, Underwater, Elle Me Dit, Big Girl, Happy Ending and Love Today.
