Purnell unveils for the beginning of the year an elegant creation, the Escape II Double Spherion Icy Blue with a platinum case and icy blue finishes.

Purnell Escape II collection, already known for its two high-velocity triple-axis tourbillons called “Spherions”, is presented in the most precious material, the platinum. A sought-after material appreciated for its refinement combining purity, brilliance and longevity.

Under Escape II sapphire crystal dome lays a fascinating mechanism featuring a double Spherion. The Spherion’s inner cage housing the balance wheel makes a full revolution in just 8 seconds, the second cage completes its revolution in 16 seconds, while the outer cage rotates in 30 seconds, which makes it the fastest triple axis tourbillon in the world! A watchmaking feat that only Purnell has been able to achieve to this day thanks to the genius of its Master Watchmaker Eric Coudray.

In addition to all, a rare and particularly seductive Icy blue finishes the watch novelty with brilliant audacity. An arctic touch to be found on the indexes of the sapphire hour and minute dial, on the hands and on the two Spherion cages.
